Introducing the CBS Curved Blade
Flexco first introduced the CBS Continuous Blade Secondary belt cleaner designed with an unsegmented flat blade for excellent cleaning efficiency and low maintenance. The heavy-duty blade features a steel backbone holding a carbide leading edge which is encapsulated in our proprietary polyurethane to provide a long-wearing solution for your belt.
We are excited to launch the addition of the CBS curved blade to help clean cupped or worn belts. The curved blade features a 12mm rise from the edge to the centre of each blade - making it perfect for contouring to cupped belts, or belts with a thick top-cover that have worn out in a cupped shape over its life cycle.

Curved blade
CBS Curved blade
The CBS Curved blade is recommended for worn or cupped belts, installations away from the pulley or without hold-down rollers, and vulcanised or mechanical belt fasteners that are properly skived.
Flat blade
CBS Flat blade
The CBS Flat blade is recommended for new belts and installations close to the pulley or near hold-down rollers. As a conveyor belt wears or becomes cupped, replace the flat blade with a curved blade to keep the cleaning performance high. Once the belt is replaced, the cleaner can revert back to the flat blade.
